Enforcement Officer's Fee Schedule
The
fees below are to be paid at the time of the application:
The Sewage Enforcement Officer’s fees shall be established as follows,
per Resolution 2005-05:
Real Estate Transfer Inspections: $200.00
Soil and Percolation Testing - Existing parcels: $500.00
(Includes up to 3 probes and percolation test)
Soil and Percolation Testing - For each proposed lot: $775.00
(Includes up to 5 probes and 2 percolation test
Sewage Planning Module Review Fee
Component I or II: $150.00
Form B Waiver: $150.00
(Includes Residual Tract Inspection)
Sewage Permitting and Inspection: $425.00 (Per Home Site)
Additional Sewage Enforcement Officer Inspection Charge: $50.00 per hour
(Malfunction inspection, complain investigation, etc.)
$ 30.00 - The administrative charge by the township if a check does not
clear. Also, the
permits or approvals covered by the check will be voided and will not
be reinstated
until proper payment and this fee are received by the township.
The following comes from the Shrewsbury Township Sewage Permit Ordinance:
"
No fee shall be refunded to the applicant in the event a permit is not
granted or in the event the evaluation of percolation tests and/or analysis
of probe holes causes the permit officer to reject the lot as a site
for an on-site sewage disposal system. All tests required by any application
not performed by the township permit or enforcement officer shall be
performed by the applicant at his own expense in a manner satisfactory
to the permit or enforcement officer."
